Mmathubudukwane Police Station Burned Down

Botswana Police Service (BPS) informs members of the public that Mmathubudukwane Police Station in the Kgatleng District was burned down yesterday evening (16/05/2025) before midnight.

The devastating fire that engulfed the entire Police Station left a trail of destruction, with nothing salvaged. The Fire department managed to put out the fire. No casualties or injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, the Police have put in place interim measures to continue providing services to members of the public, in the Police Station premises. The BPS has since commenced investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the cause of fire.

Mmathubudukwane Police Station was officially opened on the 23rd August 2019.
