The Botswana Police Service marked the International Day of Remembrance for Fallen Police Officers with a solemn tribute to its officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, an occasion officiated by the Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, Honourable Ndaba Gaolatlhe.
Now participating in this global observance for the second time, the Service joined law enforcement agencies worldwide in honouring the bravery, dedication and ultimate sacrifice of fallen officers. The commemoration served as a poignant reminder of the risks police officers face daily in their mission to protect and serve.
Batswana were urged to stand in unity with the police service and the families of the fallen, whose loss remains deeply felt. Though their lives were cut short, the legacy of these heroes lives on, etched in courage, defined by service, and remembered with enduring gratitude.
